Peer & Student Evaluations
“I find Daniel very knowledgeable in his field and very effective as an instructor. He has an easy style and relates well with his students.” – G. Shizuko Herrera, Emeriti, Professor of Theatre
“Professor Czypinski is one of my favorite teachers this semester. I have his class Monday and Wednesdays 9AM in the morning and his class starts my day great. His lectures are really informative and he takes the time to teach each student with the struggles they have. Whenever a student doesn’t understand the material he just taught, he would repeat it a couple of times so that student wouldn’t feel left behind. Everyday in class there would be a little prep talk to us and his comments about courage and the support he has behind us makes each of the students feel really good and proud of themselves. He is like our morning vitamin.” – Anonymous Student, Fall 2017, TA 1310-01
“Professor Czypinski is one of the most active, engaged professors I’ve had at this school. He truly cares for the wellbeing of his students and understands the stress that students, especially theatre students, face and he teaches with all of that in mind. I have learned so much in one semester with Daniel about stagecraft, a field that I knew nothing about when I came into the class. It has been a great pleasure working with him and learning from him.” – Anonymous Student, Fall 2017, TA 1310-01
“During my time in this class, I felt that I had grew a immense amount when it came to design and production. Being a performance major, this class and instructor allowed me to expand my horizons and dive into the field of design and production, which can be very useful in finding work in the real world. It was a pleasure having Czypinski as a professor.” – Anonymous Student, Fall 2017, TA 1310-01
“Daniel is one the best instructors I have ever had! I am a first year transfer student and I was not expecting to learn this much about Stagecraft in one semester. Very knowledgeable, welcomes questions, and is easily accessible.” – Anonymous Student, Fall 2016, TA 1310-02
